Hey everyone! Welcome to the Backtrack forum from Top-Hat! This is a real simple forum just like many others out there so I am sure you might already know how to use it.

This section is for anything relating to Backtrack and/or any of the programs that it comes with!

If you want to create a new post or ask a question, please search the forum for any existing posts/topics so that we can avoid duplicate discussions.

* While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these  matters.

* Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) posts, or the like.

* Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. You will be warned only once if this happens.

* Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message
systems to spam other members. This is a direct violation for a Ban. We will record your user and login information and Ban you forever including all/any posts you have done!

* Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.

* We also do not allow posts or links to sites that are sexual. (NO PORN)  This is a direct violation for a Ban. We will record your user and login information and Ban you forever including all/any posts you have done!

* Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

* We would appreciate it if you refrain from blatant bashing of other groups.

* We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

* If you are going to post non-English on these forums, please also post an English translation of your post.

* Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to
ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

* You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests. The Admin is the only one who may post contests for certain prizes, rewards, discounts, etc.

* You are not allowed to post or share software serial keys, registration keys, activation codes, or any of that sort which would be considered a piracy violation. If certain software is free or shareware, then that is a different story!

* We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our support forums are a privilege and not a right.

I do understand that the nature of this forum and purpose may bring up questionable topics that may be illegal. Hacking unauthorized clients, stations, AP's, servers, etc. is illegal. We only support hacking in a lab environment. Discussion about security, exploits, and other topics are welcome but must be presented in the correct manner.

If you receive a warning from a moderator or admin, you only get 1. After the first warning, you will be banned. Specific computer information is retrieved at your time of login. This information will be used to Ban you if necessary.

Have fun everybody, don't break the law, and thank you for supporting Top-Hat!
