Hardware Projects/Tutorials?
« on: November 29, 2012, 09:06:07 PM »
Hello THS,

If you didn't know, I have a lot of experience with hardware (a lot of DIY stuff). I understand this is a form mostly based on "penetration testing" (hacking) and not on hardware. I thought it might be interesting to a few if I were to do a hardware tutorial or project once every month if not 2 weeks. Projects could range from how to build portable charger for your phone to a tutorial on building a laser that could ignite paper and burn through hard plastic. I know these sound pretty boring, but I can't think of anything else at the time. And for tutorials, I haven't really put much thought into it. I would probably do a poll every month asking what you would want to learn to build or learn about. If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments please share.  :)

Thanks,
Xamran Shamsi

I've seen the tutorials section on the forum. I just wanted to see if anyone would be instrested, because it takes a mild amount of effort to make a tutorial for somethings.

The forums are going to undergo a wee overhaul in the foreseeable future and having a section for this may
be a good idea to keep the ' clutter '  away from general topics.

I say good idea.

Sounds like a ton of fun!! Ya I would totally be in. Would it be over skype or in the tutorial part of the forums? Like will it be a class or an article? And by the way thanks sounds like a fun time.
