Version Control System, what do you use -- poll
« on: December 07, 2012, 09:09:56 PM »
I'm looking to start using something because of the massive amount of configuration files I use for various servers I administer and for a pretty good number of scripts I've written throughout the years to do various tasks on my servers.  Many of them I have on over 10 machines now, it kind of just grew to a point where now if I make a change to one I have to touch every server and manually update the code on that script or upload a new version so I'm looking for a way to track changes and possibly automate pushing changes out to all servers.  Thoughts?

Damn,
I just realized I posted this outside of the "polls" board...  Can someone with access move it?
