Looking further at the inclusions..

at the moment I don't think I am going to try to include any automated checks for clients connected to a specified ESSID/BSSID.
(in all reality, it is more likely to cost more time entering incorrect mac addresses or ESSIDs than it will be to look through mcfib's list of clients and choose an entry)

So currently thinking of options as follows ;

(Never quite sure how I come up with the order of the options.. lol.. might have to look into that..)

Still not sure whether to restart networking after use so that impact of 'airmon-ng check kill' is negated or whether this not really necesary.

You got some talent there TAPE I'm currently using the other one that was posted on page 1 for now.
Telling you though TAPE should think about releasing your bash scripts to google code for people to download chances are people who make custom distros for pentesting might end up adding one or more of you're scripts.

I noticed half the scripts Backtrack and Kali use can be found on Google Code.

Well, if the script is worth it, I write about the general idea and post links to script on my blog.

Only 1 script I have written really merited a google code page, and that was WLM ;
https://code.google.com/p/wordlist-manipulator/

I am getting close to feeling semi-comfortable about releasing mcfib, but still having some issues
with how the script handles missing / superfluous info, I like to make it as idiot proof as can be before releasing ;)

Will keep you posted in this thread and if released, it will be able to be found in scripts section.

TAPE i'll work on getting a donation sent to you and to Gingerbread Man for helping me with this script. Nice too see people willing too help others out hard too find places too get help from people.
Since the backtrack forums closed i wasn't sure where too head too for help.

Thanks again hopefully you'll release it meantime im currently using Gingerbread Man's script.
Gotta get back to working on my site again today.

Hey man, nothing needed/wanted my side, if you want to support this community at THS, become a member here !

Think I have done what my brain can handle for the time being, so I will shortly release the script here in the script section as an alpha ;)
Am now just finalizing some screenshots and then need to write a bit of an explanation on things, so still an hour or two to go...

Please note 'mcfib' is at the moment based on use on Kali Linux only (so not sure about backtrack)...
If and when the interest is enough and when I figure out what would need to be done, can consider making it work on other distros
such as the hopefully soon to be released THS-OS.

But keep your eyes peeled  ;) its on the way..

I look forward to reading through the script, that's how I learn the most and TAPE I know you are OCD with scripts like I am so it should be interesting to see how you put it all together.

@N1tr0
hehe, yeah I tend to get carried away, you know how it gets :)
To be honest the script is not optimized and there are a few things I am sure I will be able to improve on when I take a step back and look at it later.
Awaiting your comments, good or bad !

@TH3CR@CK3R
I didnt really think a script like this is going to get a lot of use, so for the time being no update function.
Before I put anything on google code (which is what I would need to do for an update function) I would
really want the code to look better as well :D

mcfib.sh script info ;

Hey dude ! Thanks for the tweet ;)

Has been downloaded over a dozen times, but still hoping to hear more from (Kalie Linux !!) testers :D

If I feel it merrits it I might make a google code page on it and include an update function.

Next step though is first to get it working on THS-OS.. ;)

I'm not running Kali at the moment or I would test it for you. I've been so busy I haven't got to play much with THS OS either. The script looks awesome though TAPE!

I just wanna thank the people who took the time to help me out with this simple script saves me alot typing when im only in an area for less then 20 minutes.

Picked up a 1 year membership as a sign of my appreciation also can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the THS-OS v3 32-bit version.

I always get carried away, so could be simple turns into hundreds of lines of code :)

well the script I made there actually does use macchanger, but it just included a few automated bits.
