How to use Linux scripts on OS X ?
« on: January 16, 2014, 11:54:42 AM »
Hey there,

I would like to share with you my experience with HomeBrew (http://brew.sh). Some times ago I would use some security scripts on my Mac, but as we know OS X is a closed system and it's not really easy to customize. Some solutions exist like MacPort but I don't really like it. Finally I have found HomeBrew.

HomeBrew is light and you can code your own packages. Easy to use, I have download some packages :
arp-scan  |  dnsmap  |  gettext  |  libnids  |  netcat  |  sslscan         |  xz
autoconf  | dnstracer |  glib       |  libpng   |   nmap   |  theharvester | yasm

automake  |  fontconfig  |  httrack  |  libtool       |  pkg-config        |  tree  |  youtube-dl
cuty_capt  |  fping         |  libffi      |  metasploit |    proxychains-ng    | vim

dialog  |  freetype  |  libnet  |  mplayer  |  qt |  wget

Some basic commands :
$> brew search
To search some packages

$> brew list
To show what you already install

$> <program_name>

$> brew doctor
To correct an error in brew in case of you'll have a problem

$> brew install <package_name>

Easy isn't it ?

Don't try SET, but it work for Metasploit.
