Being tracked is something we as a people are just going to have to deal with. Its been going on since before we even thought of it. You purchase a piece of hardware, well if you want to add apps to it, you are going to need give someone your email.
For everyone that feels they are being tracked against their will, there is an equal amount of people that see it as quality or service or a security protocol. I notice the older people having the most difficult time adjusting to the idea of unknown entities monitoring their internet activities, oh yeah, also conspiracy theory buffs.
Imagine your a loss prevention officer for a department store. You have 30 camera's in the store and its your job to monitor each one to keep a look out for shoplifters.
There are customers that dont like the idea of you being able to see what they buy or even knowing that they shop at the store.
Are you going to disable the cameras to improve customer service?
The cameras are there not only to protect the store merchandise but also for insurance and liability concerns.
Will the customer continue to shop even though there are people monitoring.
The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.
