Lenovo Think Pad t61 core2duo
« on: April 04, 2015, 07:23:54 AM »
Okay yeah it's a an old crusty laptop i bougt from my neighbor last week. Let me tell you AWESOME it. It does nothing special at all. Screen sucks, keyboard is loud...80 gb hdd...But it does EVERYTHING it's supposed to do (and quickly) and I have been carrying it around for days just playing with it. Gentooo...check , Fedora Security....check...turns on when i pufh the button, turns off the same way..no crashing and no errors. This is what I expect from a modern laptop and I never get it. If you see this buy it without even thinking.
Don''t Mess with Texas..unless you are from Austin and you have your own wet-wipes.

Any of the lenovo (business class only) are great.  I've had a x41, x60, T60, and x220 and they are solid as anything else I've seen out there.  The only gripe I have with them is the fact that IBM sold the thinkpad line off to a non-american company.  That and all the latest stuff about the superfish deal with them.  Great solid laptops though.

Also, fellow Texan.
Cheers
