Help Your Child Make the Right Choices...

More and more teenagers and young people are getting involved in cyber crime. Many do it for fun without realising the consequences of their actions – but the penalties can be severe.

Cyber crime isn’t a victimless crime. The National Crime Agency and police take cyber crime extremely seriously and will make every effort to identify and prosecute offenders.

A permanent criminal record could affect education and future career prospects, as well as potential future overseas travel.

Sounds serious... 8)

Hahahahhh , trust me , this is nothing !!
When i moved to greece , first thing i did when applied for internet connection , i asked the " Tech support" of my ISP about their policies regarding networks and port scanning !!
They " Tech" guy started talking about connecting a scanner to the network !!
So i said, : Ok, i understand, how about port scanning ?
he said, : " It dosnt matter, you can connect to any port , just make sure the firewall dosnt block it !!!
Then i knew i was safe :) i was scanning the hell of any ISP in that country , i found port 139, 137 and 445 wide open on thousands of hosts.   :)

Oh man, that's crazy.  Of course it's possible that you just got a tech support dipshit (lots of them are) and there was some department working on watching for that stuff (although that's probably wishful thinking, I'm sure most places are super lax)
