Well from the looks of it you are unable to create a monitor interface..

When you do the command ;
Code: [Select]
airmon-ng start wlan0
You should see that interface mon0 has been created, however you are getting error messages..

Before trying to start the wlan0 interface, trying killing possible problems first ;
Code: [Select]
airmon-ng check kill

This might require restarting networking services afterwards tho when you finished with monitor 'activities' .

To be honest though, from the looks of the error messages, not sure how far you will get with the NHA.

And again, for better support, switch to Kali !!!

Guys, I bought the above, as I already have the AWUS036NHA.
The NHA, was able to get Interface, etc. But that was about it.
The NHA comes with drivers for Windows 8. However AWUS036H will not
work in Windows 8.  Will Backtrack 5 r3 automatic recognize this adapter?
Thanks!   And Happy New Years to All.
It was my understanding as well that you were asking about the AWUS036H. The AWUS036NHA is not supported in BT5r3. It may be supported in Kali, not sure.

Galaxy problem solved, Yes I have the AWUS036H coming in this Friday.
I already have the AWUS036NHA at present. This is the one I am using
right now. OK, so that is why I get errors. Thanks all you guys for all the great
support. I will put aside the NHA and wait to Friday.

As far as l know the  AWUS036NHA doesn't support injection. So, that's probably why it's not working.
There is a patched driver for it l think.

Here is a vid using the Alfa Networks AWUSO36NHA
on Kali:

Possibly you might need this driver for backtack:
