Hi th3cr4ck3r,

The truth is that you asked good question. We are in work progress on this part of our system. And as we tested before compact drivers (removed from kernel 3.10, now they call them just backports), and many user, or i can say beginners didn't know what to do with them, we removed them from 3.09.

Like you are saying, using early beta "maybe" will fix issue, because from what i can see from their site :

"Channel -1 issues
If you are receiving an error message talking about channel -1, there are 3 solutions:

Patch you driver like explained in the wiki (we will try not use them)
Get the latest version of Aircrack-ng (1.2 Beta 1 or from our subversion repository) and use the option --ignore-negative-one. (anyway you need to use this option)
Or you can compile aircrack-ng from source and use the flag libnl=true. (we need to rebuild package for BackBox)".

Like always I and other developers we are listening to our dear friends and users when we come to any kind of issues, and because of that i will share your post with others and see what we will do.

Thank you one more time for helping us to make our distro even better.

Cheers !

HI j0k3r,

Thank you for your support, like always we are doing our best to make things work, but it's not always that easy. That is not only our distro issue, all people have headings, not only us.

If we just need system to surf net and watch movies it can be perfect, but as we want more, it's sure that we need to work a lot to make dream come true. We are working on new drivers system to add more hardware support, but only testing period coast us days or even months ..this is not only fun, sometime it's a job as well.

Anyway ... thanks and happy hacking !
